You'll meet new people, cook in one most beautiful kitchens in Maine, learn something new, and enjoy a delicious dinner. In this class, up to 19 guests will learn the secrets to making spicy Chinese chicken, an exciting dish from the Sichuan province of China that has become a favorite in Chinese-American restaurants. Chef Sterling learned this authentic version from a Chinese neighbor and her friend who is from Sichuan province. Ingredients: Sichuan peppercorns, peanuts, garlic, ginger, fermented chili-bean paste, dried chili peppers, chicken, rice wine, corn starch, egg white, black vinegar, soy sauce, salt, green onions, green pepper, peanut oil, rice. The dish can be made gluten free with some substitutions - please let chef know if you eat gluten-free when you sign up. Please bring whatever you would like to drink (besides water) and an apron if you would like one. Chef Sterling will bring all the ingredients and supplies.
